try doing that to an old fuller 5speed with a cross member 6 inches frome the back of the tranny . so you have to pull the yolk off and drop it out at a 45 and put it in the same way after it has rolled on its side and wedged itself on the frame. it was for the same reason you are doing it. do it all while you are there . i dont think i would mind an old dodge but oshkosh did not make it as simple as you would have liked .
