there is a cop around????
Even the road hogs drive pleasantly UNTIL, the cop exits the highway. THEN, THE RACE IS ON AGAIN!!!

You see, most road hogs are not concerned about the carnage that their greedy actions may cause. Instead, they are worried about the $100 traffic ticket they may have to pay-which is more important to them than your safety.
I believe we have car "crashes", not car "accidents".
Maybe we can use the term accident if the crash is caused by a sudden mechanical problem or a tree falling in front of a driver.

BUT DON'T TELL ME IT IS AN ACCIDENT WHEN SOMEONE MAKES AN ILLEGAL U-TURN, IS SPEDDING AND WEAVING THROUGH TRAFFIC, OR CROSSING OVER THE HIGHWAY DIVIDER.
Drunk or not, You should be held crimminal rsponsible for the devistation that you cause.
If I assualt someone, I can go to jail, pay heavy fines, pay high attorney fees, and have a crimminal record dogging me.
On the other hand, if I run someone off the road and cripple them, it is called an accident and my insurance company covers it.

Come on people!!! If you want the situation to change, people have to be seriously held accountable for their actions, even if they cry, "well I did not mean to kill or mame the other motorist"; or I did not know that my driving like a moron could really hurt someone".

We often say that juveniles are too young too realize the problems their actions can produce. It seems to me that we use this excuse for adults as well.
Time to change this.
Now I just have to figure out how. Any ideas???
