The W-300 has a rubber seal inside the felt seal, so it can use oil. I use synthetic SAE 140 in my W-300's. I packed about 1 tube of grease into my M43 knuckles when I had it apart. I like the idea of oil lube in there, cause it will lube the bronze bushings better. I'm going to try AGMA 8A (SAE 450?) gear oil in my B4PW knuckles and see if the new felts running on POR-15ed knuckle surfaces will hold it in. Its about like molasses. Rob
