Yes, I did see that there were no P.W. Tags on the truck . I just figured perhaps somebody swiped them years ago.

Seeing that the truck is a '56 2 ton 4X4, I automatically thought it was a HW model. It never dawned on me that it could be an outside conversion like a Coleman.

Seeing that in 1956, Dodge built an in house 2 ton 4X4, why would somebody go out and buy a conversion?

I know of a 1955? Dodge-Coleman Conversion. It is a larger truck like a 2 ton. It lives in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. I also know a guy who has a Coleman conversion of a 1956 Dodge pickup as well.
