Sorry to here about the accident. I think that most of us are still here just due to dumb luck.
It's a man thing to play the woulda-shoulda-couda game. Don't beat yourself up because that game will drive ya crazy. Maybe if you weren't on your back for a while, you could have been killed doing something else during that time. Only the man upstairs knows why we are put through the crazy stuff we endure. Hang in there.
