I just talked to Steve at Vintage PW. He has
new winch clutch and brake levers and pads for
$95. The bracket for mounting it to the winch
is $45. I use 7/16 fiber core cable as it is very
flexible and plenty strong for anything I will
pull; stuck cars for the most part. I forget how
long it is. Maybe 150 feet?
