Dear George,
From Dave now seriously deep in doo-doo. I stand
corrected, You are correct the Canadian M-37 is a
251 and not a 237. I went back and checked a Can-
adian Parts manual from WWII and found all the Can-
adian WWII 3/4 ton were equipped with a T-236 which
is a 4 1/4" stroke making it a 237. I just assumed
(ooops, my 2nd mistake-ever....ya right) the Can.
m-37 was the same. Thanks for setting the record
straight once and for all. It helped me in writing
a current ad I'm working on for our new fall news
letter. I have (2)extra nice complete rebuilt
Canadian M-37 237 (ooops, there I go again...#3),
correction, these are 251 complete from bellhousing
to fan blade. We'v e test run these on the stand
and they run beautifully. Also (2) 251's Israeli
for Wm300 complete, condition same as above. If anyone's
interested M-37 251's are $1950 each and WM-300
are $2150 each. I will mention the info that Steve
got on figuring cubic inch displacement in the news
letter too. If your not on our mailing list send
us your address and will put you on the mailing
list.
My Apologies,
Dave Butler
