I posted these in response to a couple of other posts but they seem to have been trampled. First, my engine serial number pad (driver's side front of block) seems to be blank. Is there any other way to determine the year of my block?
Second question: while out roaming around in the old car junkyard, I noticed a few engine heads that said "Spitfire". Were these engines special in any way? Does anyone know the history here?
