I also have a wc 1/2 ton and plan to paint the running gear as well as the chassis the same color as the sheet metal. In my case i an planning on desert tan rather than the ubiqutous O.D. Hope this helps. Also, all of the ones that I have seen at MV shows etc have been O.D. all over.
