Windshield Weatherstrip Installation HELP!

Just when I think I have the rubber weatherstrip inserted all of the way in the window frame channel the weatherstrip falls out when I go to install the windshield!!! I obviously am not inserting the weatherstrip all of the way. Any advice or "tricks" to get the weatherstrip seated in the window frame? It has gotten so bad I have even solicited advice from the wife!
