Don has given you good info. I have a 400 block with 440 crank in my '67 W200 and could not be more pleased. Has about 100 horses more than stock and yet is very mild mannered. I can pull away from a near stop in 3rd gear with no trouble and pulls right down to an idle in the woods. Fuel mileage is better than with the old 383 also. Check the link below for some info on building a 450.
