hood brackets

After a break in resoring the '50 PW I went to put the hood back on and noticed the fasteners were missing from the forward end of the hinge mount. I have the small clip that the hinge end fits into.I am wondering if it is attached to the truck using a tapped plate and machine screws or just screws and washers.In short,I forgot what I need to attach the hood to the front of the truck. If anyone has had their hood off recently and knows the set up I would like to hear about it.
