I just want to put in my .02 for Bruce in CO. I realized that he is fairly close to the Hayman Fire and could possibly be evacuated if the wind changes. The weather people are not looking for any precip in our area until maybe Thurs / Fri. with a fire advancing at 5 MPH and consuming 500 acres each hour 15 miles isn't very far. I was in Denver most of the day on Sunday and visibility was down to about a mile and a half. Heard that the smoke plume was all the way up into Neb and SoDak. All this was started from an illegal campfire. I guess some people are better than others when it comes to following rules. Now the state and BLM are in the process of banning any use of national forest land. So those of you heading out to the Rocky Mtn meet, keep alert that your camping spot may be closed. Keep your fire wood at home because you're not going to be able to use it. It also might be a good time to quit smoking, too since that is also banned in some areas. Good thing I didn't rant for .04.
