an electric fan and waterpump mounted with out fan might work. a better alternative that i have seen is a electric fan and an electric water pump. the waterpump and fan are electronically controlled and no thermostat is needed. i think for serious off road outback use - lowtech is preferred. i know the mustang crowd eliminates the waterpump by removing the impeller from the waterpump and letting the belt puller serve an idler. the electric pump in line repaces the mechanical. i am sure there is additional drag on the electric system to power the fans, but i don't know how much. a 360 should fit with a stock radiator and some waterpump mods. call ray @ helitool as he sells a shortened stock waterpump so a stock fan can be used.
