Some Mopar flathead 6 industrial motors had #3 bellhousings, but I'm not sure if it would fit a PW application. You'd get an OD tranny with a good split between gears for the 230's RPM range.
I'm sure that some 318 type bellhousings were made, if that's what you're interested in.
