If the 230 is out of an auto check the oilpan. It will have the sump on the front end and will hit the differential housing of your flat fender PW (this can be changed wit a few parts). If you are concerned about originality, the PW had unique manifolds and carburetors. the blocks were the same size. Hope this helps. Note: some blocks of smaller size (cubic inches) were the same size also. Use serial number to help identify. If you have further questions let me know.
