I personally would'nt even consider a 1/2 ton "truck" (Much less a new one). About all your going to haul around safely is your lunchbox and a thermos!
Hell, you might as well buy a Chrysler and take the trunk lid off and call it a truck!
If you plan on towing a trailer and a PW around, you need a 1 ton, or 3/4 ton at the very minimum.
New trucks suck.
All plastic, and waaayyy over priced.
Do yourself a favor, save about 10K and buy AAA's '64 W300 crewcab perkins diesel.
My wife is on my butt about getting a new truck and I've told her I'll just as soon spend $1000 and put a new motor in my old 1 ton, and drive it another 250,000 miles.
