MOPAR is MOBETTA. As you have noticed, repowering a PW with a brand-X powerplant is not an accepted practice. Although some people do violate these trucks by implanting brand-X engines, they lose respect from many. Most self respecting PW owners would not do this to a PW and they reason that anyone who ops for a brand-x swap over a Mopar swap is lacking in both sound judgement
and mechanical ability. Personally, I would not sell a truck or even parts to someone who had done such a thing.
