Sorry I just finished reading your original post,thats what happens when you start at the bottom. The drivetrain components you sound like you need are engine/tranny-tranfercase if so these should be easily had. Matter-o-fact I saw several 70s Dodge 4x4s,running for sale on e-bay for just a few hundred dollars. I'd take inventory of all stuff I didn't really need,sell em, take that cash and look around junk yards or keep watch on e-bay till you find the parts,parst truck,or whole running truck for a good price. Where are you located, I may have seen a $300-400 running 70s PW in your area on e-bay.The body might be shot but hey, if the drivetrains good, you got spare parts.
