I contacted the fellow and he was nice enough and forthcoming with all info (pro/con). The vin # he gave me was for a 1962 WM300. It seems
that it does not have the original engine, tranny, T-case which has a pto or the place for one. No winch. Several items he listed are in question from what he was told they were, such as the 70F front axle ? There is no telling how much original drive train and brake/clutch hardware is left. It would take an onsite visual inspection to really size up the truck from my point of view. He said he figured the truck was worth better than $1500, so I figure the $1500 is his bid to get the ball rolling. I would have drove over today to have a looksee but M-day and visitation has delayed the trip. Maybe tomorrow after work?
