Well it depends what you want to do.
Most nuclear boiler work, the pipe is cut, chamfered and welded to create bends or welded in elbows etc.
You can get pretty much anything you want stainless steel.
What do you want to make or do?
What size pipe are you looking for? 1/8th” to 144” diameter.
What schedule pipe?
How long do you want it to last?
There are different grades of stainless T-304, T-316, then you can get it with iron in it which some is considered 400 series.
Stainless is a muther to machine. And it’s very expensive.
Everything in a nuclear boiler is stainless steel.
If stainless is prepared properly it can be polished to a higher luster than chrome.
