Well you seem to have covered all the basics. A 105 pounds is on the low side. Check to make sure your emergency brake band is not dragging on the drum. Assuming the fuel and electrical systems are ok, I think my next step would be to look at the head gasket. I had one that was put together and part of the gasket was misaligned when it was assembled. When one of the head bolts was installed it forced the gasket down with the bolt. Engine ran ok, but lacked some power. I only found it because the head gasket finally gave up. In looking at it I was amazed it ran as well as it did. Although the engine may sound fine and hit on all cylinders, you could be get leakage between each cylinder and that might be the reason for your lower compression also. It's a littel work, but your going to have to work the through the process of elimination until you find the problem. You'll know it when you see it.
