In looking at possibly buying a W500, the info I got was that axle parts such as bearings, seals, brake parts, etc. are still available, but are more expensive than smaller GVW trucks. I think these trucks use a Timken xfer case, so parts may be difficult to find. Tranny and engine stuff should be readily available. That said, $1500 may be a good price depending on the condition, of course!
