Back when I was in 8th grade, I was out yard sailing with my Dad, and we stopped at this moving sale. At the sale, in the corner of this old lady's garage I saw an old motorcycle with INDIAN wrote on the gas tank in cursive writing. I asked her if she wanted to sell it, and asked her how much. She said $10! Nuff said on that, I bought it! The bike was the Indian Yellow Color with INDIAN wrote on the side of the tank in black letters I took it to a Dad of a friend of mine who really knew older bikes and he told me it was an Indian Scout, somewere in the early 50's vintage. He told me it was very rare and desirable. Well I FINALLY got the bike running! It was missing quite a few pieces and would never run quite right tho. Well I got fustrated at it, and one day I sold it cheap...Really cheap....... I really really regret it. I think about that every day. I just located a '49 Indian Scout the other day and I think I can get it reasonable. BUT this time when I get another Indian. I wont let it go that easily!
