It's not about fit. It's about carrying capacity. Your trailer must be rated for the weight of a PW - usually 5500 -5800 pounds. Considering the typical weight of the trailer, you should have a trailer rated for at least 7000 pounds. This also means you should have brakes on at least one axle.

Also, this weight makes using an equalizer hitch a good idea for safety.

You didn't say what you are pulling the trailer with. The tow vehicle must be able to handle the load. Always use the right equipment for the job.
