he was a Korean war veteran and the 21 gun solute was tough - especially when my brother-in-law marine stood straight up at attention - in full uniform and shed a tear as he stood in the tent in front of his father's flag draped coffin - he was 20.
We restored a Farmall Super C and a Ford 8N tractor together. I will never forget him.
He cleaned his plate with bread - I asked him why - he said that when he was a kid on the farm - he needed every calorie he could get.
