Piney, you sure bring back memories of years gone by. I remember my first PW and for years I dreamed and desired to try everything on my WM300. I wanted my truck to do all the things I saw several other dodges doing ,combined. The best way to go in my opinion is, to own not one type PW to do everything butm to own a couple or 3 PWs that have certain special feature and abilities. Your M-37 had a fording setup for them and they are really better for playing and 4-wheeling with its shorter wheelbase while your WDX-WM300s are better for work trucks and hauling with its 8' bed .If you don't already have the PW tape, order it from VPW and learn what a WM300 can really do.
