Hi Robert,
Some later model 318's and 360's may have either 318 or 360 stamped on the intake manifold. (not to be confused with 360° stamped on some). These engines are hard to tell apart because they share the same block. The intakes are slightly different and some 360 exhaust manifolds are "ribbed". The best way is to find the engine number stamped on the front drivers side head casting which will have either 318-XXX or 360-XXX (followed by other numbers in sequence).
