I bought the truck with the slanter in it already. It appears that they used the entire engine, bell housing (with hydraulic clutch) the synchro trans and the swing pedals! They made new front motor mounts bolted to the frame to support the slanter, and made a pair to support the ears of the bell housing, the
shift tower is in the same place as the original, the swing pedals were mounted under the dash and replace the floor type pedals, the master cyl for both the brakes and clutch are mounted right on the firewall...they even used the original guage package in the dash!
From the outside, you would never know it's a slanter!! I recommend it highly! The original radiator is used with no mods! It runs cool and very strong!! It even sounds like a flathead !! (mine is an early 1961-2 with solid lifters so you can hear the 'ticks'!!
I can send you pictures if you want, Email me!.
