I think you want the 2 wheel drive output becaus it is shorter than others and it mates up to a drive shaft. The 4-wheel drive trannies are married to the transfer case.
I called Advanced Adapters (800-350-2223) and asked if they had anything to help me fit hte NV4500 into my '70 W300. They didn't and sent me there cataloge and NV4500 Instruction Manual for free (a $10 value). The Manual is great at identifying the different NV4500s.

Do you know how long the input shaft is on my NP435 out if a '70 W300?
