Mac, very good advice. I had some extra requirements for my new trailer. NO tube steel anywhere. It rusts inside, you can never check it and some day it will fail from internal rust. I had a tongue fail from interior rust on a small trailer. Had just got off the Interstate. Tongue just bent in half..from rust not overload.

I did a lot of spec comparing. Finally decided due to quality and type of Materials used that CornPro from Indianna was the trailer. I bought a 20' gooseneck dropped bed, 12K GVW. I just got home from a 856 mile round trip ride to pick it up in PA.

It is the most stable trailer I ever pulled, follows like a rat in a pipe.

I do a lot of steel work and early on realized I can not make a Gooseneck for what I would pay in a good deal. Just to much time involved. You have a huge investment with your PW on board, dont settle for a junk trailer that may fail. By all means make sure it has brakes on both axles and that they use Dexter Axles, not cheap house trailer, ONE WAY, axles.

Just my thoughts

Paul
