Where can I get a maintenance manual for a '53 B3 power wagon?
A few weeks ago I was tooling along I5 here in Oregon in my 1953 B3 flat fender after delivering a drill press and table saw to my brother in Portland. With 2600 rpm showing on the mechanical reed tachometer, the engine went to 0 rpm in a second or two. It has holes in it. I think the oil ran low and the #1 rod came apart, or the camshaft got ugly near the front. I am taking it out, but wondered who sells manuals or copies of manuals. I don't want to do anything too stupid to it. I may just buy one of VPW's "Asian" engines. Any advice would be more than welcome. Now I have an excuse to blast and paint the body parts, since most are coming off.
