I've shipped some big bulky stuff through Greyhound. Yup, the bus folks! They're really good about getting things clear across the country I think just as fast as any other courier (they drive all night and day too!). Only draw back is everything has to be in a box. Maybe get some big boxes from a local wheel/tire shop and stuff each one in there. There are probably different types of shipping places through semi's or rail, but I shipped a tailgate and some Jag stuff and was really pleased. (They'll only insure for up to $300 also.)
My 2-cents worth!
