I've always used Lubriplate. I think it's No. 110. High temp brake lube, that won't wash out either. Small white can with orange labeling. This is an off white, lithium based grease. Obviously, this is just for anchor and rub points....not on brake surfaces, obviously.
Just used it last week to fix squealing brakes on a late model disc brake setup.
Not hard to find. Just go to a "real" auto parts store.
