I dont think it is a miss marked 300, not enough room between bumber and grill. Dont know about the 400 series but the 500 second seriers 65 and stuff I have seen has a round wheel opening with a wide flare that is actually spot welded on. I had to go look at fred again but I think the cab and bed line up difrently on the 300's also. It also just sits to low for a 300. Both of the 300's I see on a regualr basis are as tall with stock tires as my w200 with 3inch body lift and 9.00's But very nice truck, whish mine was as nice
