The standard L-head 6 bellhousing is 1" shorter than the V8 or universal bellhousing
thus requiring the use of the longer NP420 pilot shaft used with V8 applications.
According to the "S" series 100-600,
Dodge technical service manual, under clutch specs, The same clutch Disc (Borg&Beck) is used with the W1-200,WM300,D1-300,P2-400 - mod.#12994 for both 6-8cyl. with hub spline dia.(10 splines)being 1"
Disc mod.#12559 is used in models W300&W500,D4-600,S400&500,C500 with the hub spline being 1.38"
All use the same pressure plate #1433

I was lucky enough to obtain a 230 L-6 eng.,bellhousing & tranny from a 1960 dodge pu. The L-6 was bolted to a universal V8 bellhousing which required the NP420 to have the longer pilot shaft. This is the one to have for a PW conversion.
