I should have asked the question "Did you have that noise prior to working on the TC?" I gotta get better at that. Welcome to the world of chasing problems.

When you worked on the TC, did you:

- Adjust you all bearings Intermediate gear/driven gears with all bearings clean and dry? - NO OIL or grease

- Seat the intermediate gear in the housing and after tightening the nut, check to make sure the gear turned freely, not to much drag?

- If you took out the shift rails and forks, did you make sure the mechanics wire locking the fork nuts did not rub against any gears when reassembled?

Place the high/low lever in the neutral position (mid point) and tranny in 4th. Let out your cluth and see if you hear the noise. If you do, then you need to go back in the TC.
