I've had an Olympus D400Z for over a year and it's taken great hi-res pictures. I too save the quality originals and shrink them down for the web. This camera is out of date (only 1.3Mp) but there are several out now at a reasonable price and higher quality. A friend of mine sells digital cameras online, if nothing else you can call and talk to him about what to buy and why.
