You can NEVER have too much horsepower, or torque! If you THINK that you do have too much, then get your dang foot off of the pedal, but rest assured if the time comes when you need it, it will be there. The Poly has 200 in stock truck form, 260 with a 4 bbl, mine has 330+ and is just right. That's pulling a freeway grade over the Cajon Pass in SoCal, with 4,000 lbs. in the bed, towing a 5,000 lb. trailer, at 70 mph with 4:10 gears, in a '64 Dodge. Try that in a new powerjoke!
