I finally worked through the wiring issue on my 58 W200. Turns out that someone had simply dropped in an electronic ignition system out of a 75 318, and once I hooked it up correctly it fired right up. First time in 4 years that this motor has been run, and it purred like a kitten. Thanks to everyone here that offered advice! Next, on to the brakes!
