IF,...you changed the pistons, connecting rods, crank and bearings, found the proper intake manifold, pumps, injectors, filters etc. you'd have more in it than you could pick up a Perkins or Cummins for, and it would run for about 10 minutes before you'd need that video camera. The diesel compression is 17 to 19 to 1, more than twice the gas motors designed strenght. AND you wouldn't have gained much if anything in the way of power or economy. You can buy a lot of fuel for the 5-6 thousand dollars the conversion would cost and the gear ratios that are in the PW make the flat head do the work of a diesel.
