According to the date code on the tires that Dan has, his where made in '93. The grip spurs that I purchased for my truck a couple years ago had been sitting in a warehouse for a while. It sometimes pays off to ask around since you never know what you may find.
I'm not trying to provide a listing of what is currently available everywhere, but of what folks are actually using. Hopefully it gives an idea of what works and can help when shopping... An example is that the Co-Op Grip Spurs are made by Kelly Springfield at the same plant that they used to make the Power King Super Traction tires. If you like the Super Traction and can't find it, you might try looking for some Grip Spurs since you can see that they are similar...
