Be sure to ground your blast cabinet to a GOOD earth ground. You are dealing with fine airborne dust. The possibility of a Dust Explosion must not be taken lightly.
For extra safety, a cable grounded to the cabinet with a large squeeze clip that can be attached to your workpiece is also good insurance. Also a wire from the cabinet through the vacuum (dust) hose to the vacuum source is recommended.

If in doubt, Read the NFPA (National Fire Protection publication on Dust Explosions.
They can ruin your day.
