I could never figure out why 3/4 ton Command Cars demanded such a high figure (even though they seem to be scarce). I have gotten the answer to my question by looking around to buy a few (but very important) parts.
Why oh why did you have to cut the back end off the body, Mr. cutting torch man? Putting this back together is going to test my metal fabrication stills to the limit, that is after I've shelled out big $ for seats, top, top bows, tailgate and hardware, brakes, carb, starter, etc...etc...
Note to self... "Do not even think about it untill your PW has a bed on it and is painted"
