That's odd, my cast iron manual bell housing supposedly came out of a mid-1960's truck. I thought the 69 and later versions were made of aluminum, which may not be strong enough to support the tranny when doing hard 4x4'ing. My casting number is also different from the one Ray shows on his website, but it is otherwise identical.
Now I'm confused.
