OK guys, I have a question for everyone needing tires.
Dollartire in Edmunton, Alberta has a lot of surplus 11.00x16 tires that will fit our trucks. The problem is that they are not interested in shipped them to the US. Here is what I am proposing.
I live in Bottineau, ND, so I am about 750 miles from Edmunton.
If there is enough interest, I could get a large number of these tires and deliver them to the Power Wagon Rally this summer.
They would need to be pre-bought, I would go to Edmunton and buy them personally, so everyone would get the best tires possible.
I have not talked to Dollar Tire about this yet either, but from previous conversations, I think $125-$150 for a tire with 75% tread, delivered to Iowa, could be doable.
