what's wrong with split rims - worked for 34 + years ?

the only problem might be the tire size
d300 series used
5.5x16 rims with 6.50, 7.00, or 7.50 x16 tire
5.5x17 rims with 7.00 or 7.50 x 17 tires
or did offer 17.5 tubeless wheel with
7-17 or 8-17.5 tires
go to your local dodge dealer parts dept
they should have old parts catalog (partsmen
never throw those away) you can see all the
listings (take serial# with you)
there is no advantage other than larger tires
to going to one piece wheels unless your wheels are bent, rusty, or cracked
