This question wasn't directed at me but I get questioned all the time about "why" I buy old rusty military trucks. I don't buy them for historical reasons. I buy them because I like the unique classic look, the simplicity and pure function. I don't restore them to factory condition just to usable condition. Have yet to swap in a v8 but plan to do so with one or more in the future. "why" people do that is because not everyone has the same taste or end result in mind.Good luck on your projects everyone.Kurt
