Well folks, it looks like I am going on the road again!

I am planning on heading to OK on or around the 4th of March, and then on to TX.

In OK I will be going to OK city, and other places (Tulsa maybe?) to look for a 1996-2000 Dodge 1 ton with a diesel, 5 or 6 speed, 4wd, club/quad cab, and SLT interior. Other requirements are the overload rear springs, rear sway bar, and anti spin rear end.

Then I plan on buying a used 36-40 foot gooseneck. (Most likely a PJ unless I get other recommendations. I want a flat deck, no beavertail, two axles, brakes on both, I need to stay below 26,000lbs total, no CDL).

I have some PG era stuff to pick up in western OK, and then I will be on to TX to pick up some more PG stuff (and see AAA's new daughter). I will be going to Austin area, and most likely Dallas, and Houston.

Once I have completed my business in TX, I then plan to drive to CO, route to be determined.

I will unload in CO, and then drive to OR and WA.

There I am going to be driving up ID, and into OR and WA.

I will be driving with a buddy in another Dodge diesel, and 40' trailer, so we will come back loaded!

Anybody on the way that wants to talk PWs, please E-mail me at townwagon@hotmail.com , or post contact info here, so I can call and arrange to meet.

As always, I will have my pictures with me, as well as my store of Dodge truck knowledge.

I would also be interested in recommendations for places in OK and TX to buy good used Diesel Dodges, and gooseneck trailers.

Plus any good junkyards, or other good truck stuff to see on the way would interest me.

As with last time, I will most likely not know when I will be somewhere until the day of, as it is hard to tell where you will be when, until you are there.

So I may end up passing someone at 2:00am, and just driving on by, but I also might be able to make it a sleep stop, and stop and see someone. In any case, I am willing to try and make an effort to meet some of you.

Eric
