I've got a 12,000 lb Tulsa winch on my PW that I'm needing to get cable for. I checked the Tulsa Winch website and believe most of their 10,000 lb and up winches are running 7/16" cable.
Maybe the NH winches are mostly electric and the cables they provide are for more of a occasional/recreational use.
I have absolutely no plans on using 3/8" cable on my 12,000 lb'er on the front of my W300.
